For a few years now I’ve been pushing my wheelbarrow around (meaning = Making People Aware Of)  and pointing out when possible to IT people the issue of eWaste.  For the totally uninitated, that means Electronic waste…old computer parts, dead mobiles (like mine which decided to hide in the back pocket of my shorts when they went for their evening dip in the washing machine),  old monitors,  televisions and other sorts of outdated gadgetry.

What I’d like to do is create an article of some helpful ideas for people to deal with this issue.  The Greenpeace Organisation has some very interesting articles, well that’s if interesting means horrendous and I feel like hiding under a rock.  Here’s a link to the Greenpeace Website eWaste

I am surprised that so few people are familiar with this issue and so few are prepred to even act on it.

AHHHH GREEN TEXT ………………….WHY?

I don’t ever use green text, not even on St Patrick’s Day, but I just couldn’t miss the opportunity to use a font color which is a little irritating to some of the visually impaired, not to be annoying but to bring your attention to one of the official Google Blogs  called Google Recharge it Blog.

You probably have no idea it exists, but as I’d like to point out this blog (which really means Website which is really easy to upload and change  content)  is a place where you’ll find out about things that are not only useful but also things a little ahead of the rest.  I noticed the Google Recharge It blog only has 587 readers on feedburner as of today.

So here’s the Aptera site link  APTERA , probably the most outrageous vehicle on the planet.  It’s electric and Aerodynamic.

And here’s a link to the very first post on the Recharge it Blog Power On

And I guess you are aware of the Google Search engine called Blackle, it saves energy by havng a blgack background with white writing.  But to be honest I have difficulty with Black BG and White Text.  But if you are years behind the times and not aware of Googlé’s energy saving search engine well here it is BLACKLE.
